PROMOTIONAL CEREMONY - JULY 5th 2007

On July 5th 2007, a Swearing In Ceremony was held to honor our recently promoted Chief John McKenna and Deputy Chief Peter Henrikson.  Members from the East Greenwich Fire District and other surrounding departments gathered at the town hall for the ceremony.  Also present was the Rhode Island Professional Firefighters Drum and Bugle Corp. Retired Chief Thomas Rowan and Retired Chief R. Peter Henrikson of the East Greenwich Fire District performed the ceremony for the oath of office.  Below are some pictures that were taken at the ceremony and later at the reception at the East Greenwich Veteran Firemans Club.  Thank You to all who attended to help support Chief McKenna and Deputy Henrikson.
