Retired East Greenwich Apparatus
There is a long history when it comes to firefighting in the Town of East Greenwich. We have been fortunate to have members over the years who have helped preserve that history. Many of the pictures below are courtesy of the East Greenwich Veteran Firemans Association. This organization owns and operates the EG Veteran Firemans Hall in East Greenwich. Six of the fire districts retired apparatus now call the Firemans Club home. Truck 5 ('38), Truck 4 ('58), Engine 1 ('61), Engine 4 ('64), Ladder 1 ('72), and the Fire Districts oldest surviving apparatus, The Volunteer. Since in the custody of the association, the apparatus have been meticulously restored.
